Sue McLearie

Biography

Contemporary Wildlife Artist

Having enjoyed a lifelong passion for wildlife, Sue has been drawing, painting and sculpting animals in various mediums since childhood.
Travelling is a passion and over the years various creatures have been photographed, sketched and stored away back at her studio for future projects.

'My sculptural work is a departure from my many years of painting, although my inspiration still comes from the same place, the Natural World.

This is an exciting time for me, the various creatures I am now being commissioned to create are a joy to work on and I hope that my love of animals is apparent in each piece that I make, large and small.

Each creature is unique, even a commission of the same animal can never be the same and they always make me smile.
I hope they make you smile too.’

Sue is a member of the Marwell International Wildlife Artists Society and regularly sells her work at their annual August exhibition.

Further to private commissions and sales via this website, Sue will be selling her work at various exhibitions during 2010.
